Information We Collect

American Charitable Foundation Inc. ("ACF") collects organizational information submitted through grant applications, such as legal name, EIN, IRS determination letters, addresses, and contact details for authorized representatives.

How We Use Information

Information is used solely to evaluate eligibility, process applications, issue funding, comply with legal obligations, and communicate with applicants.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your information. We may share it with service providers who help us operate, or when required by law.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. ACF will never ask for passwords, fees, or gift cards.

Cookies and Advertising

This website uses cookies and similar technologies together with Google Ads, a service operated by Google LLC, to measure how our advertising performs — for example, whether an ad brought a visitor to this site. When measured, Google may receive information such as the pages viewed, interactions with the site, approximate location derived from an IP address, and browser or device details, and may store this on servers in the United States and elsewhere. The purposes are advertising measurement and campaign improvement. Visitors in regions that require consent are asked through a cookie banner before this measurement is enabled; visitors elsewhere are measured unless they opt out.

Your Consent Choices

Where consent is required, advertising measurement stays off until you accept through the cookie banner, and declining is as easy as accepting. You can review or change your choice at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link at the bottom of every page; withdrawing consent turns the measurement off and we keep a record of your choice, the notice version shown, and your region. Declining does not limit your use of this website. Separately, ordinary cookies can be disabled in your browser settings.

Data Retention

We retain application records only as long as necessary for grant administration, audits, and legal or tax compliance, after which they are securely destroyed.

Your Choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your organization's information by contacting us, subject to legal recordkeeping obligations.

Children's Privacy

This website is intended for representatives of nonprofit organizations and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page.
